EJ DiMera – Salem’s most dangerous man when it comes to “power plays” – is once again involved in a terrifying plan.

While everyone is focused on blackouts and stalkers, EJ is quietly telling a different story, secretly targeting Theo Carver.

Behind-the-scenes spoilers suggest EJ has found something in Theo’s past that could make him prime suspect if Salem falls into crisis.

In a leaked scene, EJ meets a strange man in a car:

– “If the whole town suspects him, it’s easier to take action.”
– “Are you sure?”
– “Salem needs someone to blame. And he’s the perfect name.”

The icy statement had DAYS fans all over the place: Is EJ trying to get Theo out of Salem? Or is he trying to make him a scapegoat for the stalker? Why? Some fans speculate that the real reason is Ari Horton. EJ doesn’t want Theo involved with the DiMera family; it’s that simple.
