The latest episodes of Coronation Street are making viewers’ hearts skip a beat with the twist about Todd Grimshaw and his ambiguous and toxic relationship with Theo Silverton.

From seemingly warm moments, the two gradually slide into darkness when Theo reveals his controlling and manipulative nature.

Everything starts with advice, jogging sessions to “improve health”, but as time goes on, Todd feels more and more like he is being forced into a mold.

The climax is when Todd appears with a strange wound on his head. Theo gives the excuse of “an accident when going to London”, forces Todd to cover it all up, even making up a story that Todd was drunk and fell. But the eyes of those around him cannot be misled.
