While the other DiMera members struggle in the dungeon, above ground, EJ DiMera is falling into a dangerous vortex in a gentler — but no less cruel — way.

The person behind this drama is none other than Cat, a scheming woman who plans to both seduce EJ and secretly steal information to serve a mysterious force.

According to spoilers from Primetimer, Cat discovers that EJ is more vulnerable than usual because of the “broken memories” that keep flooding back.

He vaguely remembers reading Wuthering Heights while in a coma in Italy — but has no idea who read it, or why it matters.

Taking advantage of that weakness, Cat begins to approach EJ with the tactic of “wine + sympathy + seduction”.

In a shocking spoiler scene, Cat offers EJ a glass of red wine, her eyes are seductive, her voice is so sweet that it makes EJ let down his defenses. When EJ starts to get drunk and lose focus, Cat immediately moves to step two: sneaking into his office.

Here, Cat not only rummages through files, but also discovers an unsent letter and a recording of EJ’s voice in a delirious state. What makes fans even more shocked is that Cat recorded everything, then uses them as a “negotiation weapon”. If Cat sells this data to DiMera’s enemies, EJ will lose everything — power, reputation, and even freedom.

The spoiler also reveals that EJ, in her daze, suddenly calls Cat by another name — “Madeleine”. Cat is stunned, but immediately realizes this is an opportunity to dig deeper into the secret. EJ’s mistaken call proves that someone else from the past is tied to the Italian hospital memories, and that person may be the key to solving Chad’s kidnapping.
