Paul Foreman’s death has barely subsided, but Coronation Street is about to shake viewers once again.

The upcoming episodes will delve into the emotional aftermath of those left behind – especially Billy Mayhew, whose husband has yet to accept the fact that his loved one is gone.

Once a calm pastor, Billy has become a completely different person.

He is haunted by the wedding song – the one Paul once chose as his “farewell signal”.

Many nights, Billy quietly plays it back, tears streaming down his face without a word. Summer tries to help her adoptive father get over it, but the pain of loss gradually causes Billy to fall into depression. He begins to doubt his faith, wondering why a kind man like Paul had to suffer such a tragic end.

Meanwhile, Bernie – Paul’s mother – falls into the opposite state. From a woman who endured, she began to become hot-tempered, rebellious and even threw herself into alcohol to forget the pain. The scene where she threw a vase of flowers on the altar, shouting “Why my son?” made the audience shudder because it was so real. But what was more surprising was that Bernie began to suspect that Paul’s death was not simply voluntary.

A detail leaked from behind the scenes said that Bernie would accidentally discover a letter that Paul left behind but had not yet sent to Billy. In it, Paul mentioned meeting a “stranger” before leaving – the person who “helped him fulfill his last wish”. The identity of this person is still kept secret, but many theories suggest that it is his biological father – Denny Foreman.
