Coronation Street Spoiler: ASHA WANTS TO RETURN HOME BUT FRIENDS DISAPPEAR: DEV IS CRAZY, WEATHERFIELD HAS A NEW LOVE DRAMA

While the Becky – Carla – Lisa drama has not yet cooled down, another quiet but stressful story is happening in the Alahan family.

Asha Alahan, who is being treated at a mental health center, told Dev that she was ready to return home.

It sounded like good news, but soon after Asha confessed something that made viewers’ hearts ache: since she entered the center until now, almost none of her close friends – Summer, Amy and Nina – have actively contacted her.

They disappeared right when Asha needed them most. The feeling of being abandoned weighed heavily on her, turning the joy of returning home into a nameless worry.

Dev could not bear it when he heard that. Being a loving father, he immediately went to find Asha’s group of friends to ask them what they were doing. Of course, he didn’t scold them, but the way Dev spoke with a “deep disappointment” was enough to make the whole group bow their heads. Summer said she felt “awkward”, Nina said she “didn’t know what to say”, and Amy was like… “everyone was so busy”. Each explanation was weak, and in Dev’s eyes, it was all just excuses. He bluntly said that Asha was going through a phase that no one wanted to witness – and true friends don’t disappear just because they find it hard to talk.

Asha, meanwhile, gradually realized that she was not only fighting with herself but also with the loneliness that no one saw. When Dev recounted the conversation with the group of friends, Asha just kept quiet. But the audience saw it clearly: her eyes were both hurt and disappointed. The big question arose: should Asha go back home, accept a reality where friendships had changed?
