Becky Swain – a name that was once thought to have disappeared from the Corrie map – is back and causing a storm.

Becky returns to Weatherfield just as Lisa is about to get engaged to Carla Connor, and of course, she does not return to bless.

One night, Becky appears at the Rovers Pub, carrying a “mysterious” gift box in the middle of Lisa and Carla’s engagement party. When she opened it, it was not flowers or wine, but a picture of Lisa in Becky’s arms from years ago. The whole room was silent. Carla trembled, Lisa was speechless, and Becky smiled triumphantly.

What made Becky scary was that she was not all bad. In those eyes still hid pain, maternal love for her daughter Betsy, and a little weakness every time she looked back at old family photos. It was this contradiction that made Becky the most dangerous villain Corrie has ever had – without killing anyone, she only needed to say one sentence to bring the whole neighborhood down.
