An actor in the crew has just been confirmed unable to continue working after an incident on set.

According to Metro, the incident happened during a tense scene between Todd and Theo.

It is reported that a lighting device fell, causing panic among the crew.

Although no one was seriously injured, the psychological shock caused one of the main actors to take a break to recover.

Fans are starting to worry: will this affect the progress of filming upcoming episodes? The producers have remained silent, only confirming that “everyone is safe and Corrie is still going on”. However, there are rumors that they will have to rewrite some scenes – which could completely change the direction of the Todd–Theo storyline.

Many saw this as a “sign” – that the show was going too far in pushing the characters’ emotions to extremes. Regardless, viewers were still waiting for Corrie to return in full – because Weatherfield without Todd would be like losing a part of its soul.
