Coronation Street Spoiler: Carl secretly prepares to DISAPPEAR from Weatherfield: Abi shocked as truth emerges
If you think things between Carl Webster and Abi are gradually stabilizing, this week of Coronation Street will give the audience a real “derailment”.
In the early episodes on ITVX, Carl shows signs of secretly preparing to leave the relationship without telling Abi.
On the outside, Carl still plays the role of a reasonable man, caring enough, not arousing suspicion.
But on the inside, he is carrying out a plan to change his life, and the most rumored destination is…

Duc. It sounds appropriate, because Duc is clean, tidy, and far enough from Abi for Carl to start over without having to face any questions.
The point is that Abi has no idea. In Abi’s eyes, Carl is just stressed at work, a bit confused for a few days, then will go back to normal. But the audience saw it clearly: Carl was avoiding people, avoiding contact, making up excuses to leave home early or come home late, and even secretly erasing his travel schedule so that no one would find out. Carl’s face gradually revealed the timidity and panic of someone who wanted to run away but was waiting for the “golden moment”.
The problem was: That “golden moment” was getting closer than ever.
Abi began to notice some things were wrong. Carl’s car keys appeared in a strange place. His passport was missing from the old drawer. Carl changed his phone password for the third time in a week. And what shocked Abi the most: a diary with a schedule… completely unrelated to life in Weatherfield. It recorded train times, appointments with someone named “R. M.”, with a German link that Abi did not understand. From here, Abi felt like she was falling off a cliff.

The drama doesn’t stop there: Tracy – who never misses an opportunity to “meddle in other people’s business” – suddenly appears and hints that Abi “can’t keep her.” The words rub salt in the wound, causing Abi to lose control and almost punch Tracy. If Shona hadn’t appeared in time, Weatherfield would have had a fierce fight.
While Abi is angry, Carl continues to look for a way out, preparing to leave earlier than planned for fear of Abi discovering him. But the irony of life is: the more you want to hide, the easier it is to leave traces. And the confrontation between the two is about to happen — one side is hurt, the other side just wants to escape.
The big question: will Carl have the courage to tell the truth? Or will Abi catch him red-handed before Carl can disappear from Coronation Street?
Weatherfield is about to explode this week — and the eye of the storm is Carl Webster.
