Coronation Street Spoiler: Carl Webster’s true colors revealed – a traitor disguised as a hero, a fiery confrontation about to erupt
Carl Webster, once described as a chivalrous husband, has now been exposed as a schemer.
Recent episodes have shown that he is not only cheating on his feelings but also on purpose.
Carl is deep in debt after a failed business venture in Germany, and he returns to England to find a way to financially drain his own family.
Abi – weak and lonely – becomes a tool.

Debbie discovers that Carl tried to get Abi to sign papers related to Kevin’s car repair shop, disguised as a “business investment.”
When everything is exposed, Carl reacts violently. He does not apologize, but instead blames Abi – claiming that she seduced him first. The confrontation between Carl and Kevin is depicted in the new trailer: the two men look at each other in a dark workshop, the sound of the car engine roaring like a roar of anger. “You took everything from me,” Kevin shouted, and Carl just laughed coldly.

“No, I just took back what was mine.” A punch, and the two of them were at each other.
Corrie uses this scene to illustrate the fine line between love and hate. Carl is no longer a pure villain – he is a twisted image of jealousy, of bitterness at being compared to his brother. And when everything burns out, we see three people consumed by desire, hurt and hatred.
