When all suspicions fall on Becky, Carla Connor and Kit Green – a sober duo – decide to stand up and launch a manhunt.

No one knows Becky’s role in the Costello case, but the shady signs and panicked reactions make Carla and Kit sure that Becky is more involved than she admits.

Carla, after struggling to find a place to live, unexpectedly returns to the same old house.

The reason is not to settle down, but because she wants to be in the most appropriate place to control the situation.

She quietly watches Becky’s every move, remembers secret meetings, secret messages and even the times Becky appears in the hospital corridor in the middle of the night.

Kit is not out of the picture either. With his sharpness and experience, he gathered the pieces: the time Becky received a “burner” phone, her disappearance the night Costello was attacked, and the times Becky looked at Carla with fear. The more they searched, the more they believed Becky was trying to hide a truth that could not be revealed.

But instead of denouncing Becky right away, Carla and Kit chose to attack with the “catch red in the act” tactic. They quietly coordinated: Kit secretly collected evidence, Carla created psychological pressure to make Becky lose control. The more Becky was put in a difficult position, the more reckless her actions became: destroying medical records, finding ways to access the server, even finding someone to blame.

In a panic, Becky used Debbie as a human shield, treating the miserable bride as a sacrifice. That made Carla more determined to expose the crime. She understood that if Becky continued, other innocent people would be taken advantage of.
