Still reeling from the Eva case, Coronation Street continues to shock fans with Daniel Osbourne’s attack on Christmas Eve.

The scene of Daniel lying motionless in a snow-covered alleyway caused a stir on ITVX, with many believing he was dead.

Spoilers confirmed the attacker was Will Driscoll – Maggie’s son.

Will, suffering from severe psychological trauma after years of abuse by his coach, unleashed his pent-up anger upon seeing Daniel close to Megan Walsh – a woman he secretly loved but also involved with his father in the past.

In a fit of rage, Will beat Daniel unconscious.

Maggie witnessed this but instead of helping, she decided to cover up the crime by staging the scene to look like a robbery. She took Daniel’s wallet and watch, leading the police to believe it was a random attack.

But CCTV footage around Rovers is gradually revealing the truth. Police have now narrowed down the suspects, and the biggest question is: Will Maggie sacrifice her son or continue to cover up for Will until the very end?
