But life is not like a dream – especially in Coronation Street.

In an interview at the Inside Soap Awards, Vicky Myers revealed: “I don’t know for sure because the venue has never been set, but if everything goes well, there will definitely be wedding bells ringing.”

This half-open answer fueled more speculation. Fans understand that, in the world of soap operas, happiness always comes with tragedy – and tears at weddings can be not only due to emotion, but also due to events.

Corrie scripts are very good at destroying sweet dreams at the last minute. Becky’s appearance makes the wedding in Ibiza even more of a question mark. Will she try to interrupt and ruin Lisa and Carla’s big moment? Or will the scriptwriter turn the wedding into a huge scandal, where the vows are interrupted by shocking secrets?

More notably, Carla – with her sharp personality – will definitely not let Becky “steal the spotlight”.
