Coronation Street Spoiler: Dylan Wilson in stolen car disaster as hit-and-run rocks Weatherfield

It wouldn’t be Coronation Street without someone making the wrong choice for the wrong person – and this time, it’s Dylan Wilson diving headfirst into trouble.

What starts as a reckless job quickly spirals into a crime that leaves one local resident fighting for their life in hospital.

After Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) return from holiday, Kev is livid to see Carl still hanging around the garage.

He wastes no time demanding Carl clear out by the end of the day.

But Carl’s desperation is mounting. With blackmail payments looming over his head thanks to Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), Carl ropes in Dylan and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) for “a little job” that promises quick cash.

Soon after, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) spots Dylan and Brody tearing through the streets in a stolen car. Moments later, tragedy strikes: someone is mown down in a shocking hit and run. While paramedics battle to save the victim, Dylan scrambles to cover his tracks. Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) later reveals that the stolen car has been torched, leaving investigators with few leads.

But secrets don’t stay buried for long on the cobbles. George is certain of what he saw — Dylan behind the wheel — though Dylan flatly denies it. To make matters worse, Abi notices Dylan’s name flashing on Carl’s phone, forcing Carl to admit that Dylan and Brody have been stealing cars for him. The revelation leaves Abi horrified, torn between exposing the truth and shielding Dylan from a downward spiral.

As the community reels, viewers are left to wonder: who exactly was the hit-and-run victim? And how long can Dylan keep lying before his guilt — and the truth — come crashing down?
