The Christmas atmosphere at Weatherfield should have been warm, but Rovers Return is on fire.

Eva Price – the woman thought to be settled down with Ben Driscoll – suddenly falls into a panic when her husband’s daughter blurts out that she wants another baby.

A casual remark, but it awakens in Eva a past she’s kept hidden for so long.

While everyone is preparing the Christmas dinner, Eva sneaks out to the backyard, where Adam Barlow – her former lover – appears.

The encounter quickly spirals out of control: Eva bursts into tears, Adam tries to comfort her, and their secret gradually unfolds. Rumors spread throughout the restaurant that Eva was pregnant with Adam’s child before marrying Ben, but chose to quietly terminate the pregnancy. This had been buried deep, until… a letter Eva wrote to Ben confessing the truth suddenly disappears.

Drama erupts when Ben walks in just as Eva and Adam are holding hands, Eva’s eyes red with tears. The Christmas party immediately turns into a battlefield: Mother-in-law Maggie glares at Eva with a dagger, Will throws his glass, and Ben sits silently staring at Eva – a gaze cold enough to send shivers down the audience’s spine.

The climax is the fateful Secret Santa gift: a small gift box that makes Eva turn pale, Ben suspicious, and a few minutes later – someone is kicked out of the bar. Evelyn discovers someone lying unconscious behind Rovers. This Christmas, it seems love, lies, and blood are intertwined.
