Coronation Street Spoiler: Gary hears strange noises, gets the police involved: Todd is missing, Theo’s evasive explanation is a disaster.

Weatherfield this week was a case of things going wrong out of nowhere.

It all started with a loud bang coming from Todd and Theo’s apartment, a kind of crashing sound that wasn’t like something falling.

Gary heard it, froze for a few seconds, and then spent the rest of the day trying to act normal, but with alarms running in his head.

Finally, unable to bear it any longer, Gary pulled George and Christina aside and bluntly stated that he’d heard a very disturbing bang coming from Todd’s apartment, and that Todd hadn’t shown up afterward.

Coronation Street drama ahead as Gary triggers police search into Todd and Theo

The scary part was the silence. Todd didn’t appear. His phone wasn’t answering. The apartment looked like something had just happened and someone was trying to cover it up. Corrie’s way of playing this kind of game really works: no need for bloodshed or commotion, just one person disappearing from the rhythm of life is enough to send chills down everyone’s spine. Gary is now like an outsider who gets dragged into the situation because he was the first witness to hear the warning signs. And since there were warning signs involved, Corrie wouldn’t let it slide; she’d definitely bring the police into the picture.

Coronation Street spoilers confirm police investigation into Theo and Todd as Gary gets involved

The problem is Theo. In this storyline, the more Theo “stays calm,” the more suspicious he becomes. When someone who loves you talks as if they’re covering up a secret, you start to wonder: who are they covering up, what are they covering up, and who will pay the price for that covering up? Gary initiates the search not because he wants to make a big deal out of it, but because he heard something wrong and his feeling tells him that if he doesn’t intervene soon, things will spiral out of control.
