Next week, Coronation Street viewers will witness a fiery love triangle when Jenny Connor, in an effort to hold on to love, accidentally puts herself in a situation where she loses everything.

Once considered one of the bravest women in Weatherfield, Jenny has now become impatient and desperate, determined to beat Christina Boyd in the battle for George Shuttleworth’s heart.

The focus of this week is the speed dating event held at Rovers Return.

Glenda Shuttleworth – George’s sister – has already devised a sophisticated plan to help Jenny have a chance to approach George before Christina can make a move.

Glenda believes Jenny deserves happiness and she also wants to protect her brother from Christina’s sharp claws.

However, when everything is arranged in place, an unexpected incident occurs. Jenny received a call informing her that Rita Tanner – the woman she considered a mother – had fallen and needed urgent help. Without hesitation, Jenny left the golden opportunity behind and rushed to Rita’s side. While Jenny was busy worrying, Christina did not miss a moment, quietly taking over the empty space that Jenny left.

That moment marked the bitter failure of Jenny’s love plan. Once again, the audience clearly saw the image of a Jenny full of desire but also vulnerable, prone to making wrong decisions.
