While the love drama was blowing up Corrie, another bomb was suddenly detonated: Maggie’s dark past was exposed, causing a series of consequences for those involved, especially Eva Price.

If the drama between Carla – Lisa – Becky was emotional, Maggie’s story went deeper into the darker area: secrets, lies and mistakes that had been buried for too long.

The incident began when a mysterious character (many fans guessed Todd or Jenny) accidentally found documents related to Maggie – something Maggie had tried to hide for many years.

At first, it was just some strange information, but the deeper they dug, the more the truth emerged: Maggie was involved in a serious incident that could have affected someone’s life.

Worse, all the evidence points to her deliberately hiding her past so that she can enter Weatherfield as a decent, decent person.

Eva Price, who has always been close to and trusted Maggie, is shocked when she is the first to learn part of the secret. She faces a dilemma: denounce Maggie to protect others, or stay silent out of loyalty and fear of causing a bigger conflict. But the more Eva stays silent, the more she is dragged into a spiral of guilt, to the point that Corrie fans joke, “Eva Price hasn’t done anything yet and she’s already been punished.”

Maggie now becomes the center of suspicion. A series of clues appear: people who were affected by the incident in the past may still be alive; those who know the truth begin to emerge; and most frighteningly — Maggie doesn’t deny it completely, but instead reacts ambivalently, as if she’s still hiding half the truth.
