If the love drama is intense, this week’s missing person drama is doubly intense. An important character (name kept secret for now, spoiler-free) is reported missing without a trace, leaving the entire Coronation Street on alert, fearful and constantly asking:

Who was the last person to see them? What happened in the final hours before they disappeared?

Sources revealed that this person suddenly stopped communicating, did not appear at work, did not return home, and had his phone turned off.

What made the whole street restless was that this person was believed to be related to the case of DI Costello – who is suspected of hiding information and may be related to Becky Swain’s “fake death”.

Weatherfield residents began to speculate: what did this missing person find? What did they know that would make someone want to silence them? Some even say they’ve been threatened, others worry they’ll be forced off the streets. No one knows, but everyone is afraid of the answer.

The leaked footage from the trailer shows the character’s friends frantically searching every alley, knocking on every door, asking every person, but all get the same thing: eerie silence. A jacket left behind, a half-sent text message, and suspicious looks from the residents of the street – all suggest someone is trying to erase their tracks.

Lisa – already troubled by Becky’s return – is drawn further into the vortex when she discovers that the missing person is connected to an old case she herself investigated. Carla is bewildered as she sees Lisa getting more and more involved.
