Roy Cropper has always been a gentle, calm, and somewhat “harmless” character.

But recently, everything around him has become so strange that the whole Weatherfield has begun to whisper: What is Roy hiding?

The first suspicious point is the appearance of a new friend – no one knows where they come from, what their relationship is, or why Roy trusts them so much.

He starts doing things that are not like him: avoiding questions, deflecting when the mysterious person is mentioned, and even… against the advice of those closest to him.

Suspicions flare up most strongly when Roy installs a “mini library” in the Roy’s Rolls café. It sounds simple, but the way Roy stealthily prepares it, places it according to his friend’s wishes, and then quickly hides it when asked makes everyone understand that this is more than just a decoration. It was a sign of something bigger.

Both Carla and Nina realized that Roy was behaving like a man caught between two worlds: wanting to protect someone, but also afraid of being discovered. The way he avoided the eyes of those around him was like someone keeping a secret that could change the way people saw him.

Many rumors began to arise in the community: was the mysterious friend someone from Roy’s past? Or someone who held a wrong that Roy had been involved in? Or worse – was Roy being manipulated, taken advantage of?
