Coronation Street Spoiler: Sally leaves home in anger – Tim collapses, Trisha begs for forgiveness

After a long night of tears, Sally Metcalfe decides to leave home. She packs her things in silence, despite Tim’s attempts to explain.

“You don’t understand,” Tim says, “I was a victim too.”

But to Sally, all excuses are now just pieces of broken pieces.

Trisha comes to her, begging to talk.

“I don’t want to destroy him,” she says, “I just want him to forgive himself.”

Sally turns back, her eyes sharp: “Forgive? Are you here to cleanse me or to bring hell back to me?”

Tim stands between the two women, feeling like he’s being torn in two. He can no longer distinguish between the guilty and the victim. On one hand, he feels sorry for Trisha – who was also hurt and lived in torment. On the other, he can’t accept that she has destroyed the life he’s trying to keep.
