When Eva Price returns and steps into the role of bar owner with her husband – Ben Driscoll – she dreams of a grand opening night, full of customers, champagne flowing, and bright smiles on the Rovers stage.

But as soon as Maggie Driscoll appears, everything changes.

Maggie walks into Eva’s private, dimly lit room and says: “He told me: if I don’t do it, who will?” Eva is speechless.

Her mother-in-law is both friendly and sneaky – and the power struggle begins at first sight.

Eva – still keeping her classy appearance, still the “diva” of the past – now has to be the bar owner, take care of her stepchild Susie, and face her mother-in-law like a strategist. Meanwhile, Ben thinks he “bought the bar for his wife”, but then realizes he has just bought a “family brainstorming camp” called Driscoll.

Maggie began to “revamp” the team: old staff were moved, new cocktails called “Maggie Special” were promoted, mixology tables and schedules were printed in bold font – all with her mark. Eva discovered that the bar’s bank fund had a transfer to “M.D. Consulting” – she asked Maggie: “M.D. – what does it stand for?” Maggie laughed: “You should do it or should you use a new abbreviation? It’s Maggie Driscoll.”
