Coronation Street Spoiler: Todd’s spectacular trap: Who’s behind the foul play that shook Weatherfield?

On a seemingly normal day in Weatherfield, Todd Grimshaw suddenly finds himself at the center of a scandal when he’s pulled into a scam so carefully calculated that he doesn’t even understand what happened.

From oversleeping, being late, to affecting an important funeral — it all happened so quickly that Todd had no time to react.

But what’s more remarkable is: it seems like someone is behind it all, and that person is smiling faintly behind the scenes.

Todd starts his day by… not starting. George and Christina, the two people in charge of the upcoming funeral, rush to Todd’s house in a panic because he’s completely gone.

When they break down the door, Todd is still lying on the sofa with his white clothes running in the washing machine as if… not knowing what important task he has today.

And that’s where Theo Silverton comes in — gentle, polite, but completely out of place. Theo takes the clothes out of the washing machine with a “I’m just helping out” attitude, but his eyes are like he’s marking territory. With suspicious ease, Theo says things as he cleans up, making Todd even more embarrassed in front of George. George gets angry and announces that Todd is suspended from his shift, and Christina is immediately promoted to replace him. Todd stands there, speechless, while Theo remains the only calm one in the room.

As soon as everyone leaves, Theo turns to Todd and drops a line that sounds like sound advice but is actually extremely poisonous: “If it were me, I wouldn’t let people bully me like that.” The words seem to stab Todd’s pride, making him both angry and… suspicious.
