Just when the drama seemed to have reached its peak, Coronation Street went big: Christina and Theo “take action” at the same time.

One side is the queen of emotional manipulation, the other side is the man in the guise of love but full of control.

And between them – George and Todd – become two pitiful pawns.

Christina, after embarrassing George with “stiffy-gate”, continues to go deeper.

She pretends to help him restore his honor, but is actually digging information from inside the funeral home. Meanwhile, Theo – increasingly out of control because of Todd’s distance – turns to find a way to make Todd “unable to leave”. The two pressures converge, creating a breathtaking week.

The climax: George discovers Christina has tampered with Todd’s emails; Todd discovers George is stalking him at Christina’s instigation. The friendship is broken, and Christina just stands outside sipping tea with a cold smile. At that moment, Theo’s daughter Millie appears and crashes Todd’s hearse, and all hell breaks loose.

The episode ends with George sitting silently in the dim light, Todd walking away in tears, and Christina looking on from afar, quietly saying: “I’m just getting started.” That line sent social media into a frenzy, with viewers speculating that Christina is about to become Corrie’s “number 1 villain” in 2025.

If that’s true, this will be the season that everyone has to admit: Coronation Street has never run out of drama – it’s just not at its most dangerous yet.
