No longer two separate storylines, Corrie gradually weaves the stories of Shona–David and Becky–Costello together.

Becky, in an effort to escape, accidentally went to Shona’s house to ask for help.

But when she saw the pregnant and scared woman, Becky faltered.

She exclaimed: “Don’t let them scare you like they did to me.” That meaningful sentence sent a chill down the audience’s spine.
