Halloween night in Salem was supposed to be a fun party, but it turned into a nightmare that Aaron would never forget.

From the beginning, Aaron appeared in a devil costume – red mask, black cape – looking like someone looking for fun, but his eyes could not hide the uneasiness.

In the first scene, Aaron stood in the middle of a dancing crowd, green lights flashing, music pounding in his ears, and then… a cold hand touched his shoulder.

When Aaron turned around, there was no one. There was only another mask lying on the ground – exactly like his.

He bent down to pick it up when a hoarse laugh came from afar. At that moment, Aaron knew: someone was playing with him. He walked into the side hallway, the lights went out, and from afar appeared a figure wearing a white mask. “Who are you?” – Aaron asked, his voice trembling. But instead of answering, the other person approached, snatched the mask from Aaron’s hand, and disappeared.

Then Aaron runs outside in a panic, the lights flickering like in a dream. He sees the mask he used to wear now broken in half, lying in a pool of fake blood. The scene ends with Aaron looking straight into the camera, his face pale, and a whisper echoing: “Where is your real mask?”

The episode gives the audience goosebumps because of the ambiguity and symbolism: everyone wears a mask, but no one knows their own true face. Aaron goes from innocent to haunted, and everything in Salem seems to be signaling that something terrible is rising.
