Amy turns around: “You’re the one lying!” She throws the papers on the table – Tesoro’s birth certificate. The scene ends with Salem police having to detain both of them to prevent a conflict.

The director cleverly inserted many details: an old tattoo on Sophia’s neck, a heart-shaped necklace in Amy’s hand, and the baby – no one knew where. Marlena told Sarah: “Maybe they’re both telling the truth, but only one of them remembers correctly.” This episode pushed “Days of Our Lives” to the psychological climax: motherhood, guilt, and madness.
