Darkness suddenly covers the entire Salem, causing chaos for the people. In that moment, each character must face their deepest fears.

Belle (Martha Madison) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) are suddenly stuck in the elevator when the power goes out.

Belle panics and screams: “What’s going on?”, while EJ smiles sinisterly, whispering that maybe fate wants them to stay together.

The scene is both erotic and unsettling, making the audience wonder if Belle will be weak in the arms of EJ or will firmly keep her distance.

Elsewhere, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is home alone. As darkness falls, she hears strange noises coming from downstairs. Slow footsteps, creaking doors, all evoke the feeling of an intruder lurking in the darkness. Marlena trembled, trying to stay calm, but her eyes showed terror.

Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was locked in a narrow storage room. She knocked on the door desperately for help, the flickering light of her phone battery was about to die, reflecting her panicked face. The scene of Gwen sitting on the floor, her hands shaking and holding her head, made the audience suffocate, fearing that she could collapse at any moment.
