While the crypt is filled with the smell of death and human bones, above ground, the DiMera mansion also burns down in its own way.

At the center of this chaos is EJ – who thought she had all the power in the house, but suddenly became the target of an extremely sophisticated seduction – poisoning – secret-digging operation named Cat Greene.

She entered EJ’s life not only with a beautiful face and a “knowing she’s dangerous” demeanor, but also with a clear agenda: to dig up everything the DiMera family was hiding.

After a few rounds of flirting, Cat quickly realized that EJ was more cautious than she thought.

He was polite, somewhat charming, but not easily intoxicated enough to reveal secrets. So Cat changed tactics, playing the big card: drugging EJ. In a moment of carelessness, EJ’s drink is “upgraded,” leaving him in a state of semi-consciousness, enough to not resist, enough to talk more than usual, but still with a bit of consciousness that makes the game dangerous for both of them.

The scene of EJ lying on the bed, eyes blurred by drugs, while Cat caresses him and skillfully initiates conversation is the kind of scene that makes viewers both tense and… a little embarrassed for him. She touches on topics that EJ has trouble defending: secret tunnels, money, enemies, missing family. Each question is wrapped in the guise of “I’m just worried about you,” but it’s clearly aimed at the core of the DiMera family. In EJ’s mind, the line between truth and illusion begins to blur, making every answer he gives potentially become evidence later.
