Salem is shrouded in a fog of secrets, and Cat Greene is at the center of the storm.

In the latest episode, the seemingly harmless blonde makes Leo Stark “lose sleep” when she accidentally — or intentionally — reveals confidential information about a major conspiracy within the DiMera family.

Thinking it was just a social conversation, Cat unexpectedly drops a sentence that leaves Leo speechless: “EJ is no longer in control of everything.”

The short sentence, but enough to make Leo understand that someone is “stabbing the DiMera boss in the back”.

According to spoilers from SoapHub, EJ sent Cat as a spy, asking her to drop bait for Leo — but this woman “switched sides” halfway through. Why? Maybe for money. Maybe for love. Or simply because Cat wants to prove she’s not a puppet.

The scene that set social media ablaze: Cat emerged from the bar, handing Leo a USB stick — a “gift” that supposedly contained data related to the DiMera money laundering scheme. Leo took it, his eyes sly and suspicious, while Cat just smiled.

From there, the fake news storm began. Salem would never be at peace again. Who was really in control of this game? Cat — the new manipulator, or Leo — the old fox who had just been fooled without knowing it?
