As the Chad and Thomas scandal has just exploded, Days of Our Lives has shocked audiences with a new development: Cat is not sitting still and taking the hit.

She and Rafe Hernandez plan a counterattack — a “dangerous alliance” that is both revengeful and emotionally calculated.

According to Koimoi, Rafe – who once had feelings for Cat – decides to help her “clear her name” after being blamed for being the one who interfered in the DiMera family.

They sit down in a dark cafe, discussing a plan to expose Chad. Cat tells Rafe tearfully:

The plan begins when Cat sends an anonymous letter to the Salem Gazette, revealing Chad’s “closet secret”: he’s been hiding Cat in the DiMera house for several nights.
