Three generations of Hortons are facing a new crisis.

Chad DiMera and Jennifer Horton – a couple that seemed peaceful – are now torn apart by secrets that cannot be hidden.

In the much-awaited scene, Jennifer finds strange text messages on Chad’s phone – sweet words to another woman.

When she confronts him, Chad deflects, but his eyes say it all. “I didn’t mean to betray you… but I went too far.”

Julie Horton, who has always considered Jennifer as her daughter, intervenes in the argument, trying to mediate but accidentally making things worse. In a fit of anger, Jennifer throws her phone to the ground, screaming: “I trusted you all my life, and this is how you repay me?”

Chad walks away in silence, leaving the house empty except for Jennifer’s crying. The spoilers reveal that Julie will seek Chad out, urging him to come back, but it may be too late. A mysterious woman – possibly Sloan Petersen – will appear, further complicating Chad and Jennifer’s relationship.

As longtime Days of Our Lives viewers know, every time the Hortons fall apart, Salem is shaken. And this time, Chad and Jennifer’s promise to “always be together” could be the most painful memory in their love history.
