In the episode aired on October 2, Days of Our Lives took the audience into an emotional storm when Chanel Dupree thought she had touched her dream of becoming a mother, but suddenly everything collapsed before her eyes.

The story began with a meeting with a social worker – which was supposed to be the final procedure for Chanel and Johnny to complete the process of adopting baby Tesoro.

But instead of good news, a letter was presented that made Chanel feel like she was stabbed in the heart.

In that letter, Tesoro’s biological mother declared her strong opposition to Chanel and Johnny becoming adoptive parents, and accused Johnny of having an inappropriate relationship with Holly Jonas.

The truth became even more painful when a photo suddenly appeared, showing Johnny and Holly having an overly intimate moment. The social worker immediately expressed concern and stopped all procedures. Chanel was stunned. From hope and faith, she fell straight into the abyss of disappointment.

Chanel cried, questioning Johnny in front of everyone. “Tell me, Johnny! What is this?” – her voice choked with sobs. Johnny tried to explain that he was being set up, that Holly was the one behind this plot. But Chanel’s eyes were filled with doubt.
