Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Chanel’s Secret Pregnancy: Secret Meetings with Sarah, Hiding It from Johnny

Salem is in turmoil over the missing person case, and Chanel chooses the most sensitive time to… carry a ticking time bomb in her heart.

She has huge news, the kind that would leave anyone stunned, but Chanel decides not to tell Johnny right away.

On the surface, Chanel tries to appear fine, holding her child, smiling, and trying to maintain peace at home.

But inside, she’s in a state of quiet panic: happy and scared at the same time, wanting to share but afraid, because she knows Johnny is at his most vulnerable.

This sixth episode opens with Chanel meeting Sarah Horton discreetly, as if she doesn’t want anyone to see them. It’s not a normal medical check-up, but rather the vibe of someone with a deep worry, needing confirmation from a doctor to see if she’s imagining things. And then Sarah delivers the news, leaving Chanel speechless: Chanel is pregnant. The news was genuinely good, but it came at the wrong time: the family had just begun to settle down, things were tense, and Johnny was overwhelmed by family pressure, work, and worries about his loved ones. Chanel saw the news and realized: if she told him immediately, Johnny might be happy, but he might also panic, and if he panicked, he would instinctively rush into everything to protect himself… and in Salem, rushing into things easily leads to traps.

Therefore, Chanel chose to remain silent. She convinced herself that she needed a few days to think, to be sure, to choose the right way to say it. But Days, once she “kept it a secret,” would inevitably create a domino effect: the more she hid it, the harder it was to say, the harder it was to say, the more guilty she felt, and the more guilty she felt, the easier it would be to reveal it in the worst way. All it took was for Johnny to accidentally see the medical report, or notice something strange about Chanel, or hear Sarah say something careless, and it would be over. At that point, the problem wouldn’t just be Chanel being pregnant, but Johnny would feel left out of the loop, betrayed even though Chanel did it out of love.

The painful part of this storyline is that Chanel isn’t a bad person; she’s just the typical “self-sacrificing” lover. But self-sacrificing in Salem often leads to very costly consequences. This episode promises scenes that are both sweet and heartbreaking: Chanel watching Johnny smile while wanting to cry, Chanel touching her stomach with her heart racing, then having to turn away so no one sees her red eyes. And when a secret begins with love, it can also end with a very deep rift.
