Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Gwen rebels, laments “father doesn’t love me” – Horton family tragedy has not ended

In addition to the plots and complicated feelings, Days of our Lives on September 8 also focused on the tragedy of Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

From the beginning, Gwen affirmed that she did not care about not being invited to JJ’s (Casey Moss) birthday party.

She also showed off the expensive necklace she had just bought, emphasizing that it was only because it was beautiful and luxurious, not to provoke the Horton family.

But those words could not hide the feeling of abandonment and the desire for recognition that was gnawing at her soul.

After leaving angrily, Gwen went to EJ to complain that Jack (Matthew Ashford) – the father she had always tried to win over – had never truly loved her. In Gwen’s eyes, she would always be the “outcast” and would never be respected like the others in the family. The more painful it is, the more selfish she chooses to act, causing people to distance themselves from her.

For Jack, the situation is not easy either. He repeatedly tries to be tolerant and open his heart to bring Gwen back to the family circle. However, her cruelty and stubbornness make all efforts fail. Jack is like a helpless father, watching his daughter push herself into loneliness.

Gwen’s storyline makes viewers both sympathetic and angry. Sympathy because she is a woman who longs for love but is always controlled by insecurity. Anger because she refuses to change, keeps repeating mistakes that are difficult for others to accept. It is this contradiction that creates a special attraction: Gwen can be sympathized with, but can also become the most hated character.

The episode ends, the question is still open: will Gwen find peace, or will she continue to rebel and lose everything? The Horton family tragedy, through Gwen’s story, certainly still has many untold stories and promises to bring dramatic scenes to the audience in the next episodes.
