He shouts to the crowd, “You can’t go like this!” She turns around, her eyes wet, but she remains calm. “Tate, we tried… but love isn’t enough to heal everything.” He steps forward, takes her hand, and says in a trembling voice, “I don’t care about that! I just want you to stay!”

The scene is considered one of the most emotional of the week — you can even hear the tremor in Holly’s voice as she says, “If I stay, I’ll hate myself.” She pulls her hand away, turns away, leaving Tate in the middle of the airport with empty eyes. The plane takes off, the lights reflecting off his disappointed face.
