Drama explodes when Leo Stark – who once seemed harmless – is caught red-handed by Rita in an incident that shocks Salem.

The episode opens with Leo in an empty apartment, rummaging through Sophia’s suitcase.

He doesn’t know that the security cameras have recorded everything – and viewers know: Rita is outside the door, waiting for the moment to pounce.

When Rita enters, the lights turn on, her voice is cold as steel: “You’re good at hiding, Leo.

But not good enough to fool me.” In Rita’s hand is a photo of Leo leaving Sophia’s house the night she disappeared, with the scrawled words on the back: “When you left, she was still alive.”

Leo panics, trying to explain: “I just came to return the things!” – but Rita doesn’t believe him. She says: “Or are you here to cover up?”

The confrontation is as tense as a string. A close-up shot of Leo’s face covered in sweat, his mouth stammering, and Rita’s cold: “If I hand you over to EJ, you’ll live. But if I hand you over to Sarah… you’re done.”

Javi appears in the midst of the tension, trying to reconcile but making things worse. Rita turns away, leaving a warning: “You have 24 hours to tell the truth. After that, I will not compromise.”

The door slams shut. Leo sits down, looking at Sophia’s photo, tears falling. In the dim light, viewers see a fleeting detail – a small bloodstain on his sleeve.
