If there’s one character who’s always in trouble in Salem, it’s Lucas Roberts.

This week’s spoiler reveals a situation that couldn’t be more tense: Lucas is caught up in the DiMera-Titan corporate war, and EJ and Rafe are both pressuring him to choose sides.

A shady meeting takes place in EJ’s office. Lucas walks in with a document in his hand – possibly important evidence about Titan.

EJ is looking at the restructuring report. Rafe stands behind, silent but watching their every move.

Lucas tries to negotiate: “I have something you need.”
EJ replies simply: “And I have something you’re afraid of.”

From here, Lucas understands that he has absolutely no way to leave peacefully.

Spoiler: Lucas happens to have a secret about Jada – Theo or Vivian’s plans to take over Titan. EJ wants that information. Rafe wants to protect the innocent. And Lucas is caught in the middle. Climax: EJ offers Lucas a partnership to “take down Titan,” in exchange for EJ protecting him from the law.

Lucas is hesitant – but we know his nature. He’s prone to mistakes, vulnerable, and easily cornered. And that makes the audience fear that Lucas will fall into EJ’s trap.

Meanwhile, spoilers suggest that Lucas will be followed by a stranger after leaving EJ’s office. That person is most likely Vivian’s man – or a completely new character who intervenes in the fight.

Choke point: Lucas could be attacked – a hard blow to the head, a blackout, and when he opens his eyes, he’s somewhere else. The film is hinting that Lucas will become the “powerful hostage” who has information that both EJ and Vivian want.
