On the other side of Salem, Chad DiMera is struggling with a new storm – this time not about power, but about… right and wrong.

In a sensational scene, Jennifer and Thomas encounter Chad at the park with Cat – the woman who almost got into an accident a few episodes ago because of Rachel’s pranks.

The sight they see – Chad helping Cat fall, his hand accidentally touching her cheek – is enough to make Jennifer misunderstand.

“Are you lying to us?” – Jennifer screams, while Thomas stands there dumbfounded.

Chad tries to explain: “I was just helping her, Cat was in danger!” But in the world of Salem, words are rarely as important as the moment of being seen.

As rumors spread, EJ and Gwen quickly take advantage of the opportunity. A blurry video was “accidentally” posted online – recording Chad with Cat in a dark corner, ambiguous enough to ruin his reputation. The Salem community began to whisper: “Has Chad betrayed again?”, “No one in the DiMera family is clean!”.

Surprisingly, Cat disappeared shortly after. Jennifer went to her house to investigate, only to find the door ajar and a phone left behind. The scene ended with a flash of light in the night, the shadow of a man standing outside the door – it was unclear if it was Chad or someone else.

From the small incident, Salem fell into a spiral of suspicion. Abe investigated the DiMera to save his son, EJ played the love-power card, and Chad had to face the guilt he did not commit.
