After months of absence, Sami Brady officially returned to Salem in the 60th anniversary episode.

But instead of a warm reunion, she opened with a fiery confrontation with EJ DiMera – her ex-husband and “arch-enemy”.

As soon as Sami entered the anniversary gala, the audience froze.

EJ looked at her with cold eyes, while Sami smiled defiantly.

The conversation quickly turned into a public argument.  Sami accused EJ of “hypocrisy” for using DiMera’s name to manipulate company shares, while EJ countered that she was “still just a person living off the past.”

The words cut like knives, making the whole audience suffocate in tension. Marlena had to step in to mediate, but Sami coldly left, leaving behind a promise: “You will soon understand what it means to lose everything.”

The audience immediately speculated: Sami returned not to mend things, but to overthrow EJ, to regain power over DiMera Holdings – which she had lost everything.
Many behind-the-scenes sources also revealed that Sami was holding secret evidence – possibly related to Stefano DiMera’s death – and was ready to release it when the time was right.
