The latest Days of Our Lives episode left fans on the edge of their seats when Stephanie Johnson — the seemingly gentle, “normal” girl — turned out to be the one who turned the entire town of Salem upside down.

During the Halloween party, amid the music, dim lights, and suggestive masks, Stephanie suddenly stood up, tore off her disguise, and announced that she was Anastasia Sands, who had disappeared years ago in the DiMera financial scandal.

The crowd was stunned. Johnny, Chanel, and Alex were all frozen.

Some people tried to clap, calling it a “Halloween prank,” but Stephanie’s face was not.

She coldly said, “No, it’s real. I came back to clean up what you guys did.”

The atmosphere became thick. In the corner, Cat Greene – Stephanie’s best friend with shady connections to the DiMeras – clutched her drink, her eyes wavering. Alex Kiriakis, who had once loved Stephanie, looked at her with a mixture of surprise and fear. “What are you doing? Do you know what you’ve just sparked?”

And sure enough, within seconds, chaos erupted. A dark figure rushed forward, attacking Cat in the middle of the crowd. She screamed, blood splattered on her costume. The auditorium was in chaos. Stephanie immediately bent down to help her friend, but Cat’s panicked gaze was directed straight at her: “You… made them come back.”

The scene ended with a close-up of Stephanie’s face – her eyes trembling, tears rolling down her cheeks, and her voice soft: “You don’t understand, I did it to save everyone.”
