Steve Johnson – Salem’s Iron Man – Finally Shows His Weak Side.

In the new episode, he admits to Kayla that “I Don’t Feel at Ease” – revealing the psychological storm and conspiracy behind it.

The scene opens in Salem Park. The afternoon sun shines through the trees.

Kayla and Steve sit next to each other, hand in hand.

“I have something to say,” Steve breathes softly. “I feel… someone is watching me.” Kayla is stunned, thinking her husband is just tired. But Steve looks straight at her: “No, this time it’s not a feeling. It’s real.”

Steve has been quietly investigating suspicious activities in the hospital network where Kayla works. A false report, a deleted patient record, a hidden surgery. And now, he receives an anonymous letter: “Don’t dig too deep, or you’ll lose what you love.”

Kayla was scared: “What do you think they’ll do?” Steve smiled faintly: “If they target you – I can handle it. But if they target me…” The sentence was unfinished.

In the night, Steve turned on his computer, the screen showing CONFIDENTIAL – Salem Initiative. He scrolled through the files he shouldn’t have, then turned it off when he heard the door open. Kayla stood behind him, tears streaming. “I know what you’re doing. But I don’t want to lose you.”

A very DOOL episode: love mixed with fear, faith tested. When Steve said “I’m not comfortable,” it wasn’t fatigue, but a warning to all of Salem – that the unnamed storm was approaching.
