No one in Salem really understands Susan Banks – the eccentric woman with eyes that seem to penetrate every soul.

But in recent episodes, Susan is no longer the ordinary “spiritual mother” anymore.

She becomes the keeper of Salem’s biggest secret, and the one who decides who lives and who dies.

After warning her daughter about the “book of fate,” Susan disappears for several days.

When she returns, she has an ancient wooden box in her hands – inside are recordings of phone calls between Alex and a mysterious man. Susan plays the tape for Stephanie, her voice echoing coldly: “Let her write. Everything will seem more real if it comes from her.”

That’s when Stephanie collapses. She realizes she is just a pawn in someone else’s plan – and her mother, Susan, seems to have known it all along. In a moment of horror, Susan admits: “I don’t want you to be hurt. But if no one writes the truth, Salem will be devoured.”

Susan continues to prophesy that a “blood moon” will bring an end to this series of tragedies – and indeed, in the latest preview, as the red moon covers Salem, all the secrets begin to fall apart. Alex’s USB is found, Stephanie’s manuscript is reprinted with the words: “Author: Susan Banks.”

Viewers gasp when they understand that Susan is the one who rewrote her daughter’s life, making all the prophecies come true. In the final scene, Susan looks straight into the camera and whispers: “In Salem, no one escapes fate.”

That scene has sent social media into a frenzy – thousands of comments calling Susan “the most dangerous villain in Days of Our Lives history”. And if the spoiler is true, next week, Salem will be covered in blood, when Susan faces both Stephanie and Alex in a “final showdown”.
