If Salem is a maze, Tate Black and Holly Jonas are at its center.

After a series of misunderstandings caused by Sophia Choi, the young couple unexpectedly decide to work together — no more arguing, no more doubting — to find the truth.

Sophia has disappeared, leaving behind a series of mysterious messages, collages, and a string of lies that leaves everyone reeling.

Holly, who once considered Sophia a friend, now feels used.

Tate, though hurt, believes Sophia knows something important — a secret that could turn the tables.

They start at Sophia’s old apartment — where Holly finds an old USB drive hidden in a teddy bear.

Inside is a recording of Sophia talking about her “patron” and “the man behind Brady.” Tate hears his father’s name mentioned, and his eyes slowly change. The question is: is Brady really involved in this, or is Sophia deliberately misleading them to separate them?

On the journey to find them, Tate and Holly are constantly being tailed by strangers. One time, their car almost got pushed off the road when leaving Salem Highway. In a life-or-death moment, Holly screamed, Tate swerved and both narrowly escaped death. They knew – Sophia was not simply missing, but was being controlled by someone.

The climax broke out when Holly found Sophia’s phone number. She called, and Sophia’s voice rang through the speaker: “Don’t look for me anymore. Everyone is following you.” Then the call ended. Holly was devastated, Tate squeezed her hand: “If she’s so scared, it proves the truth is scarier than we thought.”

The audience can expect a series of detective-style plots: Tate – Holly may confront the people they love, when the clues lead them to Brady, Johnny, even Steve and Kayla. And if Sophia was indeed forced—then who had the power to make all of Salem tremble?
