Before Christmas could even begin to warm up, Salem was rocked by a shocking kidnapping: the entire DiMera family was trapped in their own crypt!

In the cold darkness, EJ, Chad, Kristen, and Tony struggled to find a way out while simultaneously suspecting each other, each with a suspicious past that could easily lead others to believe they were the culprit.

The episode opens with Kristen waking up to the echoing sounds and hurried breathing of Chad.

The stone door is locked, no signal, no way out.

The group begins to argue: EJ blames Kristen, Kristen retorts, “You always wanted this – are you satisfied now?” sending chills down the audience’s spines.

From outside, Peter Blake suddenly appears, shocking viewers. Is he alive? Or is this just a hallucination? In a tense scene, Peter says, “No one leaves here until they know the truth.” – then vanished, leaving behind an old leather-bound notebook with the inscription, “The sins of the DiMera family must be washed away with their own blood.”

At the end of the episode, an explosion rocked the crypt. The doors burst open, light flooded in, and fans gasped as EJ pulled Kristen out. But who saved them? And more importantly: who imprisoned them in the middle of Christmas?
