While the two were arguing, a strange text message appeared on Paulina’s phone: “Salem is no longer safe.” The message was short, with no sender. She trembled slightly, but hid it, not letting Theo know. As he leaves, Paulina opens the message again and sees another photo – a photo of her with Abe and… Liam.

The big question is: what is the relationship between Paulina and Liam?

The audience begins to discuss it fiercely. There is a theory that Liam used to work for Paulina when she was a businesswoman, and he is coming back to get “justice” for something that was hidden from her many years ago. If so, Paulina is in a dangerous position: both a political target and an emotional prey for a man who was betrayed.

What makes this episode special is the way the show portrays Paulina’s insecurities – a strong woman who is now slowly losing control. In the final scene, she sits alone in her office, looking out the window as the rain falls. Outside, Liam stands on the sidewalk, his hat covering his face. She sees his reflection in the glass, but when she turns around… there is no one.
