While Salem is immersed in the drama of the anniversary, Will Horton is the character that makes the audience cry the most.

He does not appear as a hero, but as a person lost between two worlds: on one side is the stormy mother Sami, on the other side is the Horton family burdened with reputation.

Will returns to Salem with a feeling of emptiness.

He seeks out Marlena, the grandmother who supported him during the dark times.

In an emotional scene, he admits: “I don’t know where I belong anymore. I love Salem, but this place is full of painful memories.” Marlena holds her grandson’s hand, her voice soft and deep: “We all make mistakes, Will. But it is mistakes that bring us back to the right path.”

However, Will’s life is not only nostalgia. Right after the conversation, he accidentally discovered a hidden data on the clinic’s laptop – containing information related to DiMera’s finances. He understood that if he submitted the evidence, he would get his mother in trouble. If he remained silent, Salem would collapse because of corruption.

In another scene, Will talked to Lucas in a cafe. Lucas said: “Don’t get involved, we’ve lost enough.” But Will only said: “If no one dares to speak out, Salem will fall into darkness again.” Lucas’s face wrinkled, tears welling up – because he understood that his son was walking the path he feared the most.

At the end of the film, Will arrived at the clinic in the middle of the night, holding a USB containing the secret. The door opened, EJ stood there, his gaze cold. “Do you know that thing can destroy everything?” – EJ asked. Will replied: “If I had to choose between you and the truth, I choose the truth.”
