Emmerdale Spoiler: April panics when she accidentally kills Callum in a locked room
If Bear represents the guilt of being forced to get involved, then April Windsor is the face of fear that has been distorted to the extreme.
The once innocent and bright girl of Emmerdale village has now become the center of a story that makes viewers both sympathetic and trembling.
April is not only the victim of dirty calculations, but also pushed into a situation that anyone can collapse: accidentally killing a dangerous man in a locked room.
The chain of tragedies begins when April is lured and forced into a dead end by Ray and those behind him.

From easy promises, coaxing words of “everything will be fine”, April is gradually pushed into a position of control. She carries fear, shame and the feeling that she is the one who is wrong, while the truly cruel people are behind the scenes controlling everything. This makes April easier to manipulate, easily believing that she has no way back.
Everything fell apart one fateful evening when April was brought to meet Callum – a “guest” she had not chosen. The room was locked, the door slammed shut as if closing off any chance of escape. April looked at Callum with bewildered eyes, and he approached with a clear threatening attitude. There was no one outside, no one to call for help. April’s fear exploded.

In a moment of panic, April grabbed a bottle of vodka on the table. As Callum approached, she swung the bottle in desperation. The heavy blow sent him falling, his head hitting hard, blood spreading on the floor. The room suddenly fell silent, only April’s rapid breathing and the look of horror on her face remained. She thought time stopped at that moment.
