April Windsor, Marlon’s little daughter, is known to be sensitive and well-behaved.

But recently, she has become distant, often having nightmares and being startled every time she hears the doorbell.

Later, Marlon receives an anonymous text message with a picture of April sitting on a bench at a bus stop with a middle-aged man – Ray Walters, who has been suspected of manipulating many children in the neighborhood.

The twist shocked the audience: it turned out that Ray had given April a gift, making her mistakenly believe he was a “trusted friend.”
