But by Christmas 2025, that light was extinguished when April was drawn into a series of horrific crimes – orchestrated by the ruthless couple Celia Daniels and Ray Walters.

From a “small job” delivering goods to an acquaintance, April was gradually submerged in a network of smuggling, coercion, and psychological manipulation with no escape.

It all began when Ray, a drug dealer disguised as a gentleman, approached April with sweet promises.

He said that “just help once,” and she would have money to help her family. But Ray didn’t stop there. He and Celia – a cunning woman controlling everything from the shadows – gradually turned April into a pawn in their dirty game. She was forced to do things she didn’t dare tell anyone about, threatened, and had her phone and identity monitored.

When April began to realize the truth and tried to escape, Celia immediately delivered a warning. She went to Marlon Dingle’s house – April’s foster father – in a chilling scene. Celia’s voice, as soft as a breeze, silenced the entire family. “If you utter a word, I will make her disappear forever,” she said. Silence became a shackles binding the whole family.

In desperation, April tried to tell Marlon and Rhona everything. But the police couldn’t help – they lacked sufficient evidence. Fear, torment, and guilt nearly broke the young girl.
