While the Dales are still reeling from Robert and Aaron’s split, another character is about to send the entire Emmerdale community into a frenzy: April Windsor.

The poor girl – who has seen her fair share of tragedy – is keeping a terrible secret.

According to Digital Spy, April begins to break down when she learns that her words could “cost someone their life”.

She wants to tell her father, Marlon Dingle, but the fear of being hurt and losing the people she loves is holding her back.

A scene set to air soon shows April sitting alone in a dark room, opening her diary and writing: “I’m going to tell them, even if they hate me.” When Marlon walks in, she bursts into tears and exclaims: “I can’t keep this secret forever!”

According to sources, what April is about to reveal is directly related to an incident from Robert Sugden’s past – and may even be the key to unlocking the whole truth. Emmerdale fans have begun calling this the “Episode of Confession” – an episode that is predicted to turn the entire Dales upside down.

If April does tell the truth, those who were thought innocent could be exposed, and those who were once hated – become victims.
